            The Academy of Art University (formerly Academy of Art College ) , a university owned for-profit Stephens Institute , was founded in San Francisco , California in 1929 by Richard S. Stephens . With an enrollment of over 18,000 students , the academy is reportedly the largest art and design school in the United States.

Academic Programs :

             The Academy of Art University offers both on-campus ( traditional instructor-led ) and education degrees (online) and distance graduate fine arts programs . The college offers an Associate of Arts ( AA ) , Bachelor of Arts ( BA ) and Bachelor of Fine Arts ( BFA ) for undergraduate programs , Master of Arts ( MA ) , Master of Fine Arts (MFA ) and Master of Architecture ( M. Arch ) for graduate programs , and certification programs for personal enrichment . The Academy of Art University offers degree and certificate  in 23 programs.



Facilities:

                The Academy of Art University offers classes in more than 40 buildings on the east and south of San Francisco , making it one of the largest owners in San Francisco . A handful of these buildings are important historical structures acquired by the Academy to preserve them from demolition or commercial remodeling irreversible. As part of its goal to promote education in the arts , academia acquired art studios that were once owned by the non-profit Art Institute of San Francisco to avoid being converted to other uses . Residence facilities and all academic buildings are linked by an extensive bus system used by students and school employees .

Arkansas State University , USA



             Arkansas State University ( also known as A- State ") is a public university and the flagship campus of the Arkansas State University System , the second largest college system and the state 's second largest university by enrollment . It is located at the top of 1376 acres ( 5.6 km2) on Crowley's Ridge at Jonesboro, Arkansas , USA. The university celebrated its centenary in 2009.

Degree programs:
            The graduate master programs were launched in 1955, and the USS began offering its first doctorate in Educational Leadership in the fall 1992. A second doctoral program in environmental sciences , was launched in the fall of 1997, and the doctoral program in heritage studies began in the fall of 2001. New doctoral programs in environmental sciences , molecular biosciences and physical therapy .

             Today , the institution has more than 70,000 alumni. Programs specialist, master , bachelor and associate degree levels are available through the various colleges : Agriculture and technology , business, education, engineering, fine arts, humanities and social sciences , media and communication , nurses and health care professions , sciences and mathematics, and the University College .



The ASU System :

              The ASU system includes campuses in Jonesboro ( Craighead County) , which offers doctoral study programs ; Beebe (White County) , Mountain Home ( Baxter County ), and Newport ( Jackson County ), where the degree programs of ' associated offered , and at Heber Springs, Marked Tree , and Searcy . Arkansas State University- Beebe became part of the ASU system in 1955. It associated with White River Vo- Tech at Newport in 1992, the campus has reached the autonomous status and is now Arkansas State University- Newport. The Mountain Home campus officially became ASU- Mountain Home on 1 July 1995 . Delta Technical Institute at Marked Tree merged with ASU and became Arkansas State University Technical Center on 1 July 2001 . A new campus was built for ASU- Heber Springs , which operates as a sister campus of ASU- Beebe . Foothills Technical Institute at Searcy was merged with ASU- Beebe on July 1 , 2003, and is now ASU- Searcy, a technical institute of ASU- Beebe .

             ASU offers bachelor's degree programs , master's programs and graduate courses with study centers ASU ASU- Beebe, ASU- Mountain Home level , and three other cities - Blytheville, Forrest City and West Memphis, where partnership agreements have been established in cooperation with local community colleges. ASU also operates an educational nearby Paragould in Greene County site.

              A- State has increased rapidly over the last 20 years . Current squad for the Jonesboro campus is close to 14,000 , and the system has a workforce of over 20,000.
